Hooking and stitching combined on wool.

16-1/2 x 36-1/2

Bring your own wool and noodles for the trees. Or we have wool available.

Two part class -

first class we will begin hooking trees on wool

second class we will stitch  -  stitches taught - stem stitch, fly, French knot, chain, pistol.

Bring your threads or Valdani threads available at class

Dates:

Tuesday - January 6th -  10-12

or

Saturday - January 17th  - 10-12

or

Monday - January 19th - 10-12

We will schedule the second class at the first class so everyone can make it.

Midlde Bass Island Hook-In

Getting ready for retreat &  Middle Bass Island Hook-in. Dyed wool last week while the weather was cool. First two batches with more to come. So looking forward to it.

Well it's been awhile since my last post. Busy summer, computer issues. I can't believe it's back to school time. Hope everyone enjoyed summer. Here are a couple pictures from retreat this year. The weather was perfect, I think I only left the porch to sleep. Next year is booked for July 28th through 31st so save the date.

This is a small project that we worked on at retreat this year, using all different fibers. It was so fun to see them all so different.

Applique class - stitches taught by Nan-Marie Graham.
I designed the pattern and dyed the wool for the class. Nan offered to teach the stitches.
We had such a great time, we are already planning our next one. Watch for the email, the next one will be a holiday runner, with even more stitches and embellishments.

This is the table design, you could also do a square wall hanging.

Had a great time at Susan Feller's retreat in the mountains.  It is at a church camp. Met some new friends, spent alot of time relaxing & hooking.
Went to Susan's house for a great dinner Sat night that her husband Jim made. Here are some pictures. Top two are where we stayed.  Susan in her beautiful kitchen. I am already signed up for next year.

Oscar is stuffed and stands up anywhere. We had a great time, everyone chose their own colors.
